Who: Louie Cornejo (Los Angeles), Kerstin Stuart (Monterey), and Misa Kelly of SonneBlauma Danscz Theatre (Santa Barbara) present 3 Cities: 3 Choreographers.
What: Athleticism, the brink of emotional zaniness, humor, & a truckload of integrity. Join us for an evening of evocative contemporary dance exchange. These three choreographers from 3 cities share the bill presenting works-in-progress, repertory, and world premieres of new works. The beginning of a new initiative with international implications a portion of the show will be presented in Istanbul and a cross-cultural exchange established. Sponsored in part by the Future Traditions Foundation, this show represents the opening of new geographic collaborations and the cross-pollination of artistic visions.
