I gave myself the assignment of photographing my garden in a day.
As it turns out, I only had an hour that day. Half an hour on my lunch break
and a half an hour after work before an evening engagement.
Flowers in budding bloom, flowers in full bloom, flowers in fading bloom.

The following two days I discovered a few flowers in bloom I hadn't taken
photos of. Flowers that I see bloom most often.

Isn't that often the case. Taking for granted the faithful standbys, the comfortable,
and the familiar. A lesson to pause, smell the roses, and be grateful for the familiar.
